Saturday & Sunday the 11th & 12th August, 2023, saw the annual BATHURST AFFAIR taking place in and around the centre of the village. 

​

 The LITTLE THEATRE - hosted three shows by Musician Joe Van Der Linden accompanied by Stephen Forder on percussion, performing songs  by the iconic Sixto Rodriguez who sadly passed away just three days before the show was due to be performed, making the entire experience very much a celebration of the artist's extraordinary life and what he meant to South Africans as a nation while being virtually ignored by the rest of the world.

Joe put on a show which will be long remembered by those who attended, and by the village of Bathurst generally ............ thank you to Joe, Stephen and Selena Grant who put the whole experience together.
