RECENT EVENTS

Robin Auld at "The Stage" in Bathurst on the 16th & 17th December 2023 really blew the respective audiences away with renditions of his latest material and some of his great mid-eighties "Springbok Hits" and surfing songs.

DOC MACLEAN (Jo Jo Man Blues Tour) - Friday 8th & Saturday 9th December at "The Stage", Bathurst

"SSSTTELLLLLAAAAAAAA" Doc Maclean's warcry echoed through Bathurst at his first concert at The Stage on Friday 8th December 2023 ......... WOW! What a great evening of really raunchy Southern Blues - beautiful guitar work overwritten by a few fantastic musical stories in his trademark raspy drawl. A great show indeed.

MUSIC AT THE MILL - Sunday 19th November at Bradshaw's Mill, Bathurst - An afternoon of picnicking & Local Musicians organized by the Bathurst Historical Society

Music at the Mill 2023 - another wonderful picnic afternoon in brilliant sunshine at Bradshaw's Mill in Bathurst, EC, with a collection of great local musicians and fun raffles, all organised as always by the Bathurst Historical Society.

KERRY HILES (A few of my favourite sings) - Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th November at "The Stage", Bathurst

This evening (11th November) This really amazing entertainer once again blew the audiences' minds with her amazing storytelling and vocal range. Her biography reads like a book which she tells with anecdotes that touch everyone in the audience in one way or another.

MARCIA MOON "Total Eclipse of the Heart" - Friday and Saturday 3rd & 4th November, 2023, at "The Stage", BATHURST

This weekend - the 3rd & 4th November saw Marcia Moon absolutely slay visitors to her show at The Stage on The Village Green in Bathurst, EC. WOW / WOW / WOW

CEDRIC VANDERSCHRIK (Ghost Stories) - Sunday 29th October, 2023, at "The Stage", BATHURST

On Sunday 29th October 2023 the residents of Bathurst and visitors from Port Alfred were privileged to see Cedric perform his show GHOST STORIES (The stories and songs behind the ghosts inside his head) at The Stage on the Village Green in Bathurst EC.

Sunday the 15th October 2023 saw the audience at THE STAGE in Bathurst Once again blown away by the amazing talent and incredible range of Kerry Hiles in concert as she presented "A Star is Born" - the Rise and Fall of Judy Garland.

STRICTLY SIXTIES with Joe van der Linden and Candace Juhl - Saturday 30th September & Sunday 1st October, 2023, at "The Stage", BATHURST

Saturday 30th September and Sunday 1st October saw Joe van der Linden and Candace Juhl really rock the little village of Bathurst at "The Stage" on the Village Green with their "Strictly Sixties" Show, doing a wide range of covers from the era that literally had the patrons rocking in the aisles.

ADEN HINDS .... "Early Dylan and the 60's Folk Revolution" - Saturday 16th September, 2023, at "The Stage", BATHURST

The extremely versatile Aden Hinds entertained the audience with a really interesting and varied selection of numbers from a wide range of artists that contributed to "Early Dylan" and the 60's Folk revolution that he was a part of.

DECADES OF THE DIVAS - 2 - 26th & 27th AUGUST 2023 at "The Little Theatre on the Green", BATHURST

Charmaine Allison's Cabaret, Decades of the Divas at The Stage - Little Theatre on the Green - was a tour de force that had the audience enthralled from start to finish.

JOE VAN DER LINDEN - "RODRIGUEZ & ME" - 11th & 12th AUGUST 2023 at "The Little Theatre on the Green", BATHURST

The 11th and 12th August 2023 saw Joe Van Der Linden, accompanied by Stephen Forder on percussion perform a wonderful tribute to Sixto Rodriguez, the iconic musician who had so much meaning to South Africans during the 70's and 80' ....... sadly the concerts became a celebration of his passing just 3 days before they were to be performed - an amazing show.

BATHURST XMAS IN JULY - 15/16 JULY 2023

THE 15 / 16 July 2023 saw Bathurst host a really successful XMAS IN JULY event with numerous stalls and entertainment throughout the weekend. A really successful effort by all concerned that saw more cars and people than the village has seen for a good number of years. Roll on 2024!
