GRACELAND

No visit to Memphis would be complete without a visit to Graceland - home of Elvis Presley. It was much more than expected - very classy in so many ways, with the only kitch found in the Jungle Room. The museum of costumes and gold records was amazing, as was the car museum - and what an experience to board and move through his two private aircraft. Everything has been kept almost exactly as it was during his lifetime, right down to the Palamino stallion in the horse paddock. An extremely interesting and inspiring visit.
